The National Family Health Survey collects data on India's population,
health, and nutrition, as well as information specific to each state. The major
goal of this study is to maintain track on new difficulties in this area,
create benchmarks, and assess the health sector's progress. It also assesses
the efficacy of current programs and the necessity for future government
initiatives.

Health inequalities refer to disparities in health status or health
resource allocation among various demographic groups. The main cause of health
inequity is social factors like education, income level, and job position; the
second is economic factors such as vast disparities in health status across
various income groups, and the third is environmental factors like pollution.

We used data from NFHS-4, which was held in 2015-16, and NFHS 5, which
will be held in 2020-21. Many issues of concern have been included in the NFHS
5 survey, including bathroom facilities, disability, waist-hip ratio, blood
glucose, blood pressure range, domestic abuse, and others. In this section, we
will examine amazing, decent, and gradual development in several of the
survey areas.

Although numerous government policies are in place, they appear to have
a gradual impact in many areas of concern, necessitating appropriate actions
with a focus on disadvantaged populations in order to reduce inequality.
